Terms and privacy

Ashlee helps document what matters to you for your care. Please read these terms before taking part.

Draft terms, not legally validatedThese terms are a draft. They have not been validated by counsel and are flagged for the PHIPA and HCCA legal review before any pilot use.

What Ashlee Health is

Ashlee is a guided conversation that records your values so they can be shared with the people who care for you. Ashlee is not a doctor, a lawyer, or a decision-maker. It does not give medical or legal advice.

Recording and your transcript

Each conversation is recorded as audio and stored securely in Canada. A written transcript is also kept. The audio recording is kept for up to 120 days and then deleted.

Deleting your recording

You can ask to have the audio recording deleted. Deleting the recording removes the audio. Your transcript and the values already captured are kept as part of your record.

If you are a substitute decision-maker

If you are speaking on behalf of a patient, you confirm that you have the authority to do so under applicable health-privacy and consent law, and that what you share reflects your recollection and understanding of the patient's values.

Your data

Your information is stored securely and used to create your values record. You can ask to see it, share it, or delete it.
